I think they are all doing it - Asda have done it with the red top we buy. Something to do with recycling I think. But it's still irritating ...Tesco changing the top of the full fat milk from blue to a translucent white. Can't see it properly. Horrible.

It's due to recycling. Coloured lids can't be recycled easily into food grade packaging.

It is very annoying like you say because of telling diff between them, is to do with recycling. However nothing wrong with your system

So not only the price of tyres but the delay in getting them.
Ordered yesterday, Tuesday first availability.
Luckily I have another car but that would/could be problematic for anyone that relies on their car. What is going on with random supply chains like tyres?
Found a very, very short term (and sketchy (don’t try this at home kids)) fix when I found it was a screw and not a nail. Wheel off, screw slightly reversed out, flexible epoxy resin in the hole/screw threads and reseated the screw and let the epoxy cure.
Sketch AF but will do if an emergency means I need that car.
Bloody tyres. Bloody punctures.
