Public transport was accessible its just the person in question decided to ignore clear instructions

Sorry I think you have missed the point

Its partly accessable.

The person can only go to certain stations not all ..

Even in the right car she couldn't go to all the stations she might require .

I think it's unfair to blame someone for simply missing a sign .. bit harsh.

They way i read it was that she needed to get off at station 1 hence the alarm but there was no ramp for her carriage as she ignored the sign to only use a certain carriage where a ramp was available

Today's incident correct

So todays annoyance could be laid at the ladies door

However in the bigger scheme of things it's utterly depressing that the network isn't fully accessible to all

Put it on the list of jobs to do. As you said earlier, the reality is that the cost to do all stations would be disproportionate.

I'm sure HS2 stations will be bang on, I presume that cities that have installed tram networks have got it right. Victorian built stations will hopefully be updated bit by bit but clearly it can't be done in one hit.

I have total empathy for the situation but the fix is neither quick nor cheap.

The home laptop has no disk space. Only 2GB of 256GB left! What has the family filling it up with?? In the days of my youth, my laptops had less than 10GB in total and i would still have 2GB left on them.

High resolution media is usually the culprit. Your laptop back in the day probavly had go contend with 128kb/s MP3s and 1-2Mb picture files (1 or 2 MP resolution). Tyese days a single picture file can be 12-14Mb and high res audio files can be 10 times the size they used to be.

also i used to delete any 'unwanted' pics & videos to avoid being caught.. (or rename and put them in the 'Microsoft' folder)

Top of the table football clash today. We won 2-1. ?. The oppo had three bookings and one red for abusing a young ref. This is U15s level ?

I sent a player off in u15 football back in day (hand ball on the line clear goal scoring and all that)

I was told they would be waiting for me in the car park ?

None of it is helped by a lot of parents and even some coaches at youth level, whose behaviour is often appalling.

I remember several years ago watching my lad at U16 level. The opposition coaching staff were abusing our players, mocking their physical appearance in some cases, and their ability. I reported them to our local FA and asked how this fitted in with the Respect campaign. Several other parents and our coaches also complained. Absolutely no action was taken.

All of the above on Sun.. in our U13 game… got ramped up when we equalised with about 90sec on the clock. Not happy

Was talking about kids football with a golf mate who coaches a team and he mentioned they had a fitness coach. I was a bit surprised and asked what age group he coached. He said U-13s, couldn’t believe they would even think about a fitness coach ?

Firm yes and agree with both those points. We complained to our League about one team's threatening behaviour, constant abuse and vicious tackling on the pitch. Nothing was done at all.

In the game I mentioned, the ref was spot on. I told the oppo coach during the game that his team loosing their heads isn't going to win you the game. He agreed and said the ref was doing a great job. At the final whistle, he's straight up to the ref complaining like his team. Pathetic.

The way that team selections are reported. Always headlines and focus on who has not been picked rather than celebrating those who have made it in to the squad, sometime for the first time.
