If Scottie Sheff starts getting strokes gained in putting everyone else may as well give up..
Definitely gone too far this year. Mainly because the weather has played havoc with the schedule, meaning not a lot of golf went through 16 yesterday until they’d had 6 hours or so without a shot hit just drinking
Broadcasters also guilty by over showing the hole to the detriment of rest of the course. 17 is a great risk reward hole (although weather has hurt it this year) but barely being shown

I mean you can take your pick of however many SM Posts you want but its all wearing a bit thin with the players it would seem.
The TV coverage is doing a great job of not showing it but holy moly the social media is a terrible look for this event and the tour.

Only winning one major is such a bad return for someone who can hit the ball as well as him but as with Garcia they both couldn’t sink enough putts

Is it just me or are commentators on both tours (PGA/Liv) going overboard telling us how amazing what we are watching is ?

I don't think it's exclusive to golf. All commentators are just dead air fillers and become very annoying over time because their is simply nothing to say about what's being seen .. your seeing it
For balance from last night. Mrs is going to sleep, kids are asleep. I can't watch tonight's golf in bed .. I miss the YouTube bit .. say what you want about liv it's great you can watch it anywhere
I have sky go .. but sky don't let you cast it from a phone so can't even cast to my tv up here..
I won't be going downside to watch a non major
But if sky would let me cast it id be watching

Well done to Taylor, Pavon, Kirk, Dunlap and Murray but unless im wrong their not considered top players.

Be interested to see how many Pro's come back to this event next year ?
It's also a reason why tournaments purely for top 50 players are not as attractive to me as they seem to be for tournament organisers or TV. I want to see some of the other guys coming through, as they are clearly capable of doing.
I understand your point, perfectly valid. Mine is that any player on that tour is good enough to hit a hot streak and break through. If they are allowed into the tournament. I enjoy watching that.

It's fair to say Taylor must like the layout.. Was 2nd last year to scottie.. Was a great finish to the round... I thought the Hoff had it wrapped up....now I am paying for staying up late to watch it to completion...
