Has anyone heard of what Paul Way is doing these days, I've sent 2 text's messages to the BBC coverage and they never answered me. Paul played in the 1987 - 89 Ryder cup at which time he was becoming a big name in golf. He played my local course and we where amazed at the way he played golf, he hit the ball so long back then we thought he was fantastic. I would love to hear what he's up to now. Does anyone know

Just did and found some information on him. It seems there's nothing on him since 2003 so I'm now wondering what he's been doing since then. Thanks I never thought about doing a search on him

You often see him up at the London Club in Kent now - don't know if he's attached there or something?

Had a friend who played with him in a pro-am a couple of years ago and apparently he was still a bit of a hothead with whom it had still not yet registered that he was no longer playing golf at the highest level, and is never likely to again.

Great player for 3-4 years, but all over too soon. Still remember him smashing a 1-iron through the back of 17 at Wentworth in a play-off for the PGA with Sandy Lyle in 85 at a time when virtually no-one could get up there in two.

Oh well, nothing lasts for ever...

Its a shame the beeb dont have him on getting interviewed they seem to have dug up enough oldies just to get their thoughts on Tiger. I would love to hear if he's still playing tour golf of some sort. Or maybe he's a pro somewhere, If some knows his where abouts maybe u can pass on this information to me and I'll send him a letter or email

He did one senior event last year if you exclude the SOC qualifying so guess he must be involved with something else ?

Did look for a while that both Way and Faldo were going to be golfing superstars but alas it didnt happen for Way.He does place occasionally on the Seniors tour but with no success.

when he was good he was very good, must have something else on the go as he's not been around for many years ?

Massive ability but wrong temperament for golf was once how I heard him described, didnt he completely wind up the Americans during the Ryder cup once when he was playing with Seve?.

Old enough to remember him on tv in 80s, very quick tempo with about 7 quickly repeated looks to target before each shot with the 80's Spandau ballet style fringe jumping about! 3 tour wins and a RC win then it went tits up.
