I bequeathed my body to medical science and they are contesting the will !!
Seriously, if any parts were of use I'd happily let them have them!

See that's where I'm covered, I'm not sure I'd accept an organ, I probably wouldn't but you can't actually say until faced with the decision I suppose.
Why wouldn't you accept an organ? So if the doctor said you need a kidney, or a lung, or heart transplant or you are going to die, you'd simply refuse it and die?
What about if you had a sibling, or some other family member that was a match for some of your liver. Are you saying you wouldn't donate a piece of you to save their life?
Not sure I really understand that way of thinking at all.
Are you a Jehovah's witness or hold any religious beliefs as to why you wouldn't?
:thup:You should have to carry a card saying you decline organ donation imo.
Nah, not a religious thing. I didn't say I wouldn't I said I probably wouldn't but couldn't actually say if I would. I can't really explain it (and don't think I need to tbf) it's just something I've always thought. As I said, I wouldn't really know till faced with that decision but I'm not sure I'd like somebody elses organs inside me, it would be weird I think. Just being honest.
I'm going to buck the trend and say no, no particular reason not to, but I'm hedging my bets and if there is an after life I want all my bits just incase.
I don't know why, but I've never carried a donor card and don't think I will.

Wow, taken along with other recent postings ........
Could you explain to me, as an atheist, which version of the afterlife requires intact organs, or indeed even a physical body?
Second, what makes you think you will be going there?
Third, do you have a card refusing a donor organ if one of yours failed?
Fourth, assuming you, like most organ donor skeptics, is a pitiful hypocrite who will change their mind when it suits them, what if the only suitable donor organ was from a Celtic fan?
I was reading on BBC yesterday about world cup footballers tattoos and apparently the reason Cristiano Ronaldo doesn't have any is because he gives blood regularly.....every credit.I tried to give blood a while back but they wouldn't accept me as I'd had a tattoo less than a year ago. Seems a bit odd to me if they're that desperate for it but there you go...

When i am gone take what you want!
Like I said, I don't know what I would do until faced with it. I don't think I would accept one, but don't know.
1) I know nothing of the afterlife. It was I concede a flippant comment.
2) Who knows? I did say I was hedging my bets.
3) No, didn't know there was one, but see my initial comment on this post.
4) Idiotic question that really doesn't merit a response.
Trust me, pal, but after spending a year on dialysis, you would accept one from Neil Lennon.
