Oh noooooooo! I've finally succumbed!

Use the red tee markers then ;) :D
The problem with golf is that a golf club can mean the whole course and associated infrastructure and membership, or a single implement for hitting a golf ball. A tee can be a prepared area of ground or a small wooden or plastic peg to place your golf ball on when teeing off. For the benefit of the super pedantic, perhaps I should have used the term 'pink castle tee peg'!!! :rolleyes:

I believe you have missed the attempt at a tiny joke

Using a pink tee - ie use the ladies red tee markers :thup:

Probably, if the joke was that feeble! I use pink plastic castle tee pegs when teeing off with my driver because they happen to be about the right height, and I have no worries about my masculinity thank you! :rolleyes:

Don't take it too personally Chris when you, as a Vet, will now be accused on here of being the main cause of slow play, never letting anyone through, leaving pitch marks and divots unrepaired, not sanding divots on tees, being disrespectful to captain, committee, and juniors, ignoring (or lusting after) the ladies, not supporting the bar and/or canteen - at least with your own money :eek::eek:

At least, I know that that is not true :whistle:

:ears::ears:

I'm trialing all those options already, I don't want to miss out on the fun that they bring by forgetting to do any of them!

Chris dont forget as a senior the counting goes a bit astray - 6 becomes a 5 a 5 becomes a 4 - shots get missed;) :D

Don't worry Chris. Once I activate my handicap again I'll be looking to enter a few seniors opens in the area.
I love playing with the other old doddery so & so's. Nice thing is, even my drives look a decent length when compared with the majority of 'em!
I'll be in touch, we'll enter a few of the betterballs if you like. Decent courses, decent entry fees and decent food as well, plus a chance to win some goodies.
With your prodigious length off the tee, and my cunning and guile around the tobacco tin, I reckon we could clean up in a few.
:)

I will see you with one in sunny Bordon later in the month!!:D:ears::ears::clap::clap:

Mmmmmmmm sounds like a plan, do the TT do an old gits betterball, you could be the " wheezing short game wizard" and I could be the "wizened Joe Miller" !

I played my first senior comp this year, and also got a 3rd.

Unfortunately I made a huge faux pas in the bar afterwards. I ordered a Guinness when everyone else was on tea or coffee...
