Golfing Appraisal 2024/25

My goal is to shoot my age this year off a high enough handicap to win the nett trophy.

You've just reminded me of another goal - to actually be at least semi-competitive in the club champs this year. Last year I shot something like 106 on the first day which pretty much put paid to that!!

2024 main goal was to reduce my handicap and as has been documented, I achieved this and then some; going from 14.6 to 9.7.

2025 goals are:
- To reach single figures (officially )
- To maintain my handicap and keep it around the 10/11 mark realistically
- Try and better my knockout comp performances and get to semi's in at least one
- Perform better in club comps, definitely a mental thing as one of my worst rounds of 2024 was in club champs.

2024 - peaked in summer

2025 - New golf club, back at H4H but a second child on the way so this year the goal is just to keep regularly playing golf!

I hit 100% of my golfing goals in 2024.

My 2025 goal will be the same as it was in 2024: have fun.

My goal in 2024 was to play more than 2023. Achieved.... 7 times in 2024 v twice in 2023!
