Grand Slam Winner
Due to a number of people dropping out at the last minute, it has been decided to alter the format for the day.
It was always going to be difficult arranging betterball matchplay as one person dropping out of a group makes it almost impossible to rearrange everything at the last minute. So set out below is the new format, with revised groupings and teeing off times. I have tried to keep these as close to the originals as I could, but obviously some people have slightly earlier teeing off times.

10.00 & 1.30: SEAN McDONALD (N), HOGAN (N) & SMIFFY (S)
10.10 & 1.40: YORKIE DAVE (N), SPARTACUS (N) & TIM ELLIS (S)
10.20 & 1.50: RANGEBALL (S), JOHN (N) & SMIGGER79 (N)
10.30 & 2.00: TAZ (N), LGL (N) & KEFKEF (N)
10.40 & 2.10: FRANK POSTLETHWAITE (S), THE CROW (S) & LYN WHITTAKER (S)
10.50 & 2.20: BOB WARTERS (N), MATTO (N), DAVE GREEN (S) & GAZ MEEKINGS (S)
11.00 & 2.30: STEVE (S), DERMOT (S), PN-WOKINGHAM (S) & TONECAPONE (N)
11.10 & 2.40: TONYN (N), VIG (N), CRAZYFACE (N) & STEPH (S)

The revised format will be 9 hole Stableford in the morning, followed by 18 hole Stableford in the afternoon. The morning Stableford will be an individual competition with prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd played off full handicap.
The afternoon competition will be scored on an individual basis, once again off full handicap, but the best 15 scores from each team will be added together and the team with the highest number of points will be declared the winners. There will be two competitions running in the afternoon as well, a nearest the pin (on the 13th) and a longest drive (on the 18th). There will also be a small "must try harder" memento...
The first few groups out are in threeballs, for obvious reasons....
