For some time now Little Miss Mad has been nagging me to take her to see Motherwell playing at Fir Park. I decided to take her last Saturday when they were playing Dundee United and to top it off got lumped with her 2 wee cousins as well. I took them to McDonalds before the game and walked up to the ground. I went into the Davie Cooper stand and for me, and three kids aged 6,7 and 8 it cost me ....

£60 for just the tickets and during half time the wee buggers cleared another £10 out my wallet.

The whole day cost me £82 and to be honest I will not be rushing back before Christmas. I have agreed to take OJ when it is freezing and again in May/June when its warm because I cannot justify that kind of spend every month.

Surely if clubs are trying to recruit the fans of the future they need t understand that taking £36 for 3 wee arses on seats is riping them off and putting them and their parents off.

Count yourself lucky. If you went to even a Championship side you could probably add another £20-30 on top. Go to a premiership club, especially one of the London ones and you'd add 50% to what you spent. I wouldn't be surprised if a League one side in London wasn't that far behind what you spent
