New shoes for winter

Get yourself a pair of Sealskinz socks and your feet will stay nice and dry

About £27 online or from an outdoor shop.

You can then wear pretty much any shoes :)

Will second the Sealskinz socks - excellent also in the cold

I am on my second pair of Stuburt Helium's, first ones failed and were replaced. The replacements have now failed within 2 months. Don't go near these with a very large barge pole. I am sorry Footjoy, I will never do it again. Can't go wrong with FJ.

Whilst not the most stylish shoe, I am confident that my £14 hitec splash lite shoes are going to ve great for winter. Comfortable enough and 100% waterproof, as I found out when I stood in the edge of a water hazard the other week
Wore mine for the first time this morning. Found them to be a little on the big side but I wore some thick socks as I do in winter and all was good. Non of the morning dew came through and they was extremely easy to wipe down at the end of my Round. Happy days

DG are doing £10 off if you spend over 50, meaning you could get the FJ boots for 44.
