'Interesting' white golf shoes

I've got a pair of the G-Fore Gallivanters in grey and white if anyone wants them cheap, only worn them once. Size 12 so if you don't like them you can sail down the river in them.

Do you mean shoes with replaceable spikes?

If yes I bought some of these last Feb but did not get to wear them to comment fully (other outlets may be cheaper)

I never thought I would need to explain what spiked golf shoes were on a golf forum!

I’m looking for a pair of white shoes (for Christmas maybe) but it seems that I’m rather limited in my choice as ideally I wear an 8 Extra Wide, or 8.5 Wide. I know FJ do them, but anyone else?

Try these beauties.

As I mentioned in the thread starter, they are all traditional style and not the trainer style I am after.

I really want the Nike ones that @Orikoru pointed out but they aren’t available in my size
Is it possible to go a size up and buy some insoles? I find Nike pretty narrow anyway.

Sadly I have seen the need in the past. I also have seen 'spiked shoes' where the spikes are not changeable.

I had a pair of these, callaway if I recall. Moulded spikes. They were very good until they weren't. Upper still in good nick, spikes worn to nubs

Sorry for off topic

Ecco Biom C4 are a great shoe and they have the removable insole for extra width? I've always had quite wide feet and they fit true to size for me

Have you had a look at golfposer.com, they tend to have clothes/shoes at the 'trendier' end of the spectrum and might have something that floats your boat.

I have no idea, but it's what they claim! I think maybe the insole is a bit of a U shape?
I can see that a thick insole would raised the sole of my foot higher up the inside of the shoe, and as the upper is shaped/curved inwards from the sole of the shoe it gets narrower. So taking the insole out could well give more space for the foot as the foot will sit down closer to where the upper is connected to the sole - and where there is more space for the sole of the foot to spread out.
