New shoes for winter

Any recommendations for some new golf shoes for winter? Not looking to spend more than £60ish so any sales or older models would be good.

Currently own a pair of adizeros but they do leave big marks in the greens for me so they'll go into retirement for winter and a pair of footjoy m project which aren't the best in the rain. Gives an idea of the style of shoe I like though.

It's ironic as I'm also using the adizeros at the moment but the 6 spike ones, these leave less marks than my puma cells.

Whilst not the most stylish shoe, I am confident that my £14 hitec splash lite shoes are going to ve great for winter. Comfortable enough and 100% waterproof, as I found out when I stood in the edge of a water hazard the other week

Adidas Tour 360 or Pure 360

I had the same dilemma and settled for DryJoys Tour (white/white Lizard) without the fancy tightener at the back though, sorted :thup:

Having recently been through a few pairs of shoes and sending them back due to being totally non waterproof I will be going back to my True Linkswear shoes. Only golf shoes I've ever had that has remained 100% waterproof.

Depends on your course and how wet it gets. My course is parkland which gets a tad moist in the winter so I go either to the local nike outlet shop or somewhere else that sells cheap shoes and then bin them in the spring. Normally cost under £30.

Phil , have they redesigned the sole / studs , from the ones that caused the deep indents on greens ???.

The pure 360 look good. Do they give good grip in the wet with just the small spikes?

They are a totally different design to the Adizeros which cause the deep indents

I had the tour 360's about 4 years ago and were excellent shoes in the winter

The pure 360's are just a little bit lighter but great shoes.

Im looking at the same issue as well, was leaning towards FJ dryjoys tour to replace my 10 year old dryjoy P R O's.

Footjoy winter boots are brilliant and at a reasonable price. had mine 3 years with winter use only and very good when on damp longer grass as they stop any water running into them as shoes allow.

Interesting, I'm thinking of getting a pair of boots to stop those "damn I've just gone ankle deep into a puddle" moments.
Are there any alternatives to FJ etc?

Get yourself a pair of Sealskinz socks and your feet will stay nice and dry :thup:

About £27 online or from an outdoor shop.

You can then wear pretty much any shoes
