Munchies in your bag?

I take enough for a picnic, you never know how long you might be waiting on some shots.

Normally take:
1 Litre Cordial (diluted)
1 Litre Water
Bag mixed nuts and raisins
1 Mars Bar
1 Snickers Bar
2 Cereal Bars
1 Banana
1 Apple
A sandwich
A sausage or cheese and onion roll.

I usually eat something every third hole, or if long delays have a nibble, and always have the chocolate on hand in case partners don't have anything with them.

And I'm not fat or greedy, just hollow legs :ears:

i remeber camping in swanage there used to be like a paper van that would come round and my nan would buy a few packs a day for me :D

I always buy a lucazade and a mars bar at the pro shop.. left them in the car on saturday so brought some bottles of water at the 6th/14th hole cabin and a snickers... rejuvenated my round! Snickers are the way forward.

Snickers for me as well, but this one has been in my bag for a few weeks, unopened, banana and a bottle of water. If I am out early breakfast is either porridge and pineapple or whole meal bread toasted with jam and peanut butter :). Try and not carry too much as it just makes my bag heavier to carry.

You should be eating less simple carbs like chocolate and more complex carbs like breads, nuts and banana's. Your body will be going thru peaks and troughs with eating so much crap. Complex carbs are slow releasing and even out the peaks and troughs.

If you need a quick sugar boost have a drink of lucozade or eat a few jelly babies.

The voice of knowledge, all we need now is Fabians tuppence ;)

Hope ur well buddy

For me rice crispy bars,Lucozade and a bottle of water.Quite like the scotch idea thou  .
I used to play with an American chap who kept a huge Havana in he`s bag for when he aced.....

Usually a couple of bottles of water or one water and a lucozade. Food wise it tends to be bananas and raisins. I've been for these iconiq drinks Jason Dransfield has been talking about but really struggling to find them

Chewing gum and a bottle of water.

Honestly. A round of golf lasts 3 1/2 or 4 hours. And its not exactly climbing Everest.
Unless someone has a medical condition that means they need to eat, can't folk go for this time without stuffing their faces.
