I have the 3h adams super s, it has been quite good. I have been toying with the idea of replacing my 4 iron for the winter with one and just bought off eBay a pristine 4h in the same specs. I will give that a run out hopefully on Friday to see if it fits in to my bag.
The one thing I have struggled with though is off tight lies I am a little blocky with it but on the second cut its straight ... Which is a little disconcerting.

I have two, 18 degree & 20.5 degree

I'm still happy to hit 3 or 4 iron off a tee but not as good anymore off the deck

I make my choice depending on the course and how windy it is

Just 1, in place of a 2 iron.

I still carry a 3 iron but only because I play a windy course and I can hit it off the deck or tee for a powerful lower ball flight.

If I ever become a memeber of a parkland course that is less windy I will probably look for hybrid or hybrid irons down to the 4 or even 5 iron!

None. Never will have either. Dreadful things

Ever tried them?

To say you/they don't get on is fine and I know a few folk where that's the case, but to write then off as 'dreadful things' is narrow-minded at best. Same as saying that using blades, or only 1 wedge, is the 'proper' way to play imo.

Ask Tom Watson what has kept him competitive. Or Luke Donald which club will be the last one he'd change. And Y E Yang won the US Open winner with plenty of them in his bag!

I use 2 in 21 degree and 24 degree. I would never get enough height with a 3 or 4 iron at present to stop it on the green
