15 degree adams super hyrid which is like a 3 wood. slightly large head on it.

22 hybrid for the light rough.

dropped my 19 degree hybrid for a 2 iron. same length but lower flight. the best bit is that it is a lot more accurate.

Never used then before last year...........Two Titleist 910H great clubs. I can hit my std length 21 degree further than my 4 iron easy and I have a second 21 Degree with a longer shaft, made it up myself, and it fills the gap to my 3 wood perfect.

I would be lost without them now.

2 = 22 degree & 25 degree but a good 40 yards between them

If I started with empty bag I'd put three in with better loft spacing & without a 5w needed but my bag was built up rather than starting empty so clubs were bought to fill gaps rather than replace)

Ever tried them?

To say you/they don't get on is fine and I know a few folk where that's the case, but to write then off as 'dreadful things' is narrow-minded at best. Same as saying that using blades, or only 1 wedge, is the 'proper' way to play imo.

Ask Tom Watson what has kept him competitive. Or Luke Donald which club will be the last one he'd change. And Y E Yang won the US Open winner with plenty of them in his bag!

You're absolutely right of course, Foxholer, but I also agree with Captainron. I'd prefer not to use them. It just feels wrong to me, somehow. Illogical but true.

I currently carry a 20* and have a 17* in the house but I recently bought a 2i off jimbob.someroo to replace the 17* and am awaiting delivery of a 3i to replace the 20*.

How easy/hard is the 15 to hit compared to a 3 wood?

Since I've been playing golf 'seriously' I've never really used a 3 wood regularly so it's quite hard to say. I'm using the Adams Idea Super which if you compared it to the 3 wood is probably very similar, just has a slightly smaller head.

I think it's shorter in length than most 3 woods so you don't get as much yardage but it's one of my most reliable clubs.

I've got one which is a Cobra Amp Cell 3 Hybrid fits nicely between my Cobra Amp Cell 3 Wood and my Cobra Amp Cell 4 Iron.

I find a hybrid nice and easy to use, they give you lots of confidence even off the tee when your driver or 3 wood are being sprayed everywhere.
