Rubbish nights sleep so got up and went to the gym by 7. It was great, handful of people in, did my session without any gymbro's admiring each other and trying to out lift each other. Showered and home for 8:45. Great start to the day until my wife opened some mail and we'd got a parking ticket for picking our son up outside is work near the airport!! 🤬🤬

-7 here today so did 10 miles on the Peleton, not feeling the best after a few vinos last night 😂😂😂

I've stayed indoors on the Peloton all week. I don't run anymore and cycling in sub zero is dangerous on the quiet roads I prefer to ride. I'm lucky that I really enjoy the classes though and usually do a few strength ones and a couple of cardio ones to mix it up. Great bit of kit.

Sat down with the wife today. Had a discussion about the jab and we have agreed I'm coming off it. I've got one dose left but I won't take it , the upset tummy in morning isn't great. Manageable ISH once it passes but it's the mental health aspect. My confidence has gone completely in decision making. Plus she said the meal planning is hard to manage around the kids. It's like she has to make herself meal for 1 then I make a meal and they have their dinner.. just not good for us all.

I'm about 8kg down ATM. I'm hoping to keep that off. That would be great

Looking at simmer meals for faff free meals prepped ready for me to take to work. That would be good 👍

Sounds the right decision. You tried it. Not for you. I know you said crisps are your downfall. Have you tried the snacks made with 100% cheese? Higher protein and gives that savoury hit. Or crunchy broad peans, peas, chick pea type snacks.

100% cheese???? What is this .. sounds beautiful

Yeah I'll be all over any of those snacks

I'm gonna have to ban crisps at work and be strict because it's been easy on this

You could try the Kallo veggie cakes. Very strong salt and vinegar. Too much as it turns out for me as the aftertaste lasted far too long and kept making me want chocolate to offset it!

I have a packet of peanuts in my car now, a handful of those and it takes away the yearning for snacks.

Actually I bought a pack of mixed salted nuts from Lidl this week. A mix of peanuts, cashews, almonds, pecan and macadamia. Really good as not just full of peanuts. Agree that you grab a few and the salty hit is perfect. High calorie but much better nutritional value than most savoury snacks. Just got to avoid eating handfuls!

Just to say I've been really really impressed with pharmacy 2 u and their aftercare for the jab.

It hasn't worked for me. That's personal, it does for others. However the support when I reached out (on a weekend aswell)

Get yourself a cook book or two and make them yourself, much better than ultra processed food
