I’m not really that fussed either way.
But I’m not buying the narrative that pga tour are the good guys and liv are the baddies and brooks is the prodigal son returning but needs to show remorse and humility to be allowed back into the club coz maverick McNealy or some other mid guy is upset.

Don’t forget Liv only came about because of pga tours shortcomings and arrogance.
Yeah this is bad news for Liv but probably no worse than Rahm leaving the PGAT.

Also, I don’t care how rich these guys are, the financial penalties will be a sore one to take.

Only time will tell if it’s a good move for him but I dig predict him for a resurgence so maybe it will be.

in my isolated boredom with nothing else to do last night I put it on. Was Horshall, Cantlay and someone else Vs Aberg, Lowry and again someone else. It was that entertaining I can’t remember who 2 of the players were and I was even more bored after 10 mins I turned it off again. Basically reaffirming my view of watching people hitting balls at a screen with weird rules and crap banter is just not entertaining. Ended up watching Pirates of the Caribbean again for something more fun to do 😂

Bryson also said he will be playing LIV in 2026.

I cant capture it to put here.

Rahm will be interesting.

5 mill fine and he got 300 mill to join LIV and has won 18 million for just the championship. But I thought he still had 1 year to go on his current contract so Id expect him to stay or he'd have to pay a lot back to LIV breaking the contract.

Jon Rahm wins the LIV Golf Individual Championship and takes home the massive $18 million bonus.
 
DeChambeau did not, however, pledge a long-term commitment to the Saudi-backed circuit.

“I’ve got a contract this year, and that’s just going to be an ever-evolving conversation,” DeChambeau told Parsons. “Hopefully, I’m back next year. I’m excited for the potential of LIV. It just has to make sense for both sides, and we’ll move forward in a cool direction if that’s the case. I certainly don’t want to let [my Crushers teammates] down.”
 
I would imagine that liv have told Bryon and Rahm they will be paying back their signing fees if contracts are broken. T

Bryson doesn’t sound committed in the long term. And as for Rahm, I’m not sure we can believe a word he says.

One thing is for sure though. They will soon get fed up of the travelling around the world.

Unfortunately we cannot believe a word any of them say.
They will tell the truth occasionally but only when it suits them.
Bryson and Rahm are hardly going to say got 1 year left on my contract then it’s back to the PGA but I’m 500 million richer than when I left.

It is funny as it make it look like they’ve purposely spited Phil😂

But in reality it makes sense the fist LIV event was in 2022 so his last major was before that where as the other all fall in the Window of being inside the time frame was their majors came after. The only questionable ones Smith as I think he got the open win around same time as his first LIV event.

But it is still funny though because it’s Mickelson and he is a bit of knob 😂

Southern Guards?? That sounds awful. Should have called themselves Springbok GC or something.

Bryson won't be leaving, but he won't come out and state that because he'll be looking to extract more money out of them to stay, as well he should.
