Leaderboard software

Help!

I am in discussions with our club committee and the golf centre to bring it into the 21st century. They have a very fancy 60" TV in the Lounge bar where everyone congregates after a competition.

I have a PC ready to be used in the lounge, for a powerpoint type presentation of upcoming events and competitions and a few photos.

But..

I would like to be able to enter scores into some software and have a live leaderboard updating for any given comp or roll up event.

Is there such software? I would prefer free if possible?

Howdidido I believe can show the leaderboard but there is software out there to do but not sure for free

We turned it off on our psi screen because people were turning up - seeing the leaderboard and deciding to not bother entering if good scores were already in

I think the club are still considering the big leaderboards on the patio behind the 18th as you often see at pro qualifiers and pro ams. As we have a cut after round one it will be fun watching the names and scores go up and the predicted cut line moving. I do like the idea of a scoreboard of some description but only for big events. I think those rolling up later in the day may take one look and not bother and that has to be detrimental

Once scores are entered into the computer ours update on TV in the bar, will ask what the software is .

Handicapmaster handicapping software also features a live leaderboard.

Most if not all of the authorised software packages will give a leaderboard. All you need is to connect the PC up to a TV to give the leaderboard.

It's not 'live' though is it... Live leaderboards are when the scores are coming from the course when players/scorers are updating the scores as they happen...

It's not 'live' though is it... Live leaderboards are when the scores are coming from the course when players/scorers are updating the scores as they happen...

How did I do you can display a leaderboard which is updated when final scores are entered which I'm guessing is what the OP is talking about and can be used for free
