Just been for a fitting but I can't decide between Taylormade or Orka

Noticed one or two comments about resale value, surely you don't choose a set of irons on that basis ? If you did, TM certainly wouldn't be top of the list, resale value is poor due to high turnover in new models. I can relate to this from bitter personal experience :o

Choose what works best within your budget and make the decision.

Good point , buy titliest then ................EYG

When I changed clubs 2 years ago I fancied something different from the mainstream brands. After much looking around I settled on Orka's and I have absolutely no regrets. I love mine and I won't be changing them for a long time. Lots of people pull one out of my bag, have a waggle and make some nice comments about them.

Bottom line though, it's your choice. I'm not trying to influence you in any way but if you want to shoot low scores and win competitions go Orka, if you want something that's out of date by the time you get home from the shop, go TM

I had a fitting with my Pro using Flightscope and Ping i20's came out best but he wasn't using Orka as an option. I did see Gordon's Orkas this year and must admit they do look very nice irons indeed.

Consideration of resale value mentioned on some posts leaves me cold.
