The Grinder Of Pars (Semi Crocked)
That I can live with...anything hotter than 23° is a waste as far as I'm concerned.....Brilliant out there, never got hotter than 21 or 22 degrees.

Just had a look at their website. Looks like they specialise in selling boxes of cakes to corporate and business buyers.I've never been to a Wenzels but that is quite a claim you have made there . Bold statement. Then again, maybe Greggs just keep their best gear for up here
That’s our current night time minimum. Still not hot enough for the aircon tho. Can’t spend a pound twice….That I can live with...anything hotter than 23° is a waste as far as I'm concerned.....
No Stottie's either?Just had a look at their website. Looks like they specialise in selling boxes of cakes to corporate and business buyers.
Absolutely no sign of a sausage bap or a 4 pack of sausage rolls. !!
Their cakes are insane as well, but rest assured they do an amazing sausage and bacon baguette, sausage rolls, anything you like, and they do it all much better than Greggs. Their chicken and bacon baguette for lunch is incred as well.Just had a look at their website. Looks like they specialise in selling boxes of cakes to corporate and business buyers.

All I need is Diet Coke and a couple of Hobnobs when I play.....Their cakes are insane as well, but rest assured they do an amazing sausage and bacon baguette, sausage rolls, anything you like, and they do it all much better than Greggs. Their chicken and bacon baguette for lunch is incred as well.
You drink chicken bake?!! Dang......you are one tough Hombre. No Stottie's either?
Can't beat Greggs half stottie with tuna and cucumber washed down with a chicken bake and a bottle of Irn-Bru. Lunch of the gods and probably your full calorie allowance for the day.
Guy I used to work with lives near Pebble Beach CA......boring boring boring weather (even he says so)...but if you like mild weather alllllllll of the time....your kind of place.Ha ha. I'm afraid not. I can't handle the heat once it gets above 25°C or so. I'd love to live in a world of 18-20°C, perfection for me, all year round but sadly that place doesn't exist.
Baguette , a baguette . How southern is that? No wonder I haven't seen them up here. A bacon Baguette . Mind-blowingTheir cakes are insane as well, but rest assured they do an amazing sausage and bacon baguette, sausage rolls, anything you like, and they do it all much better than Greggs. In Leicestershire we have cobs.
You can stick your baguettes and paninis...
Stick with our wonderful and diverse regional names, of which there are plenty, rather than use unnecessary foreign names for different shapes of bread.
Ooh, I've strayed into Random Irritations.
What?? It's like, the best form of sandwich bread..what is wrong with you?Baguette , a baguette . How southern is that? No wonder I haven't seen them up here. A bacon Baguette . Mind-blowing
You’ve obviously never had a Maughans tea cake. What?? It's like, the best form of sandwich bread..what is wrong with you?
Actually, this was one of the day trips to France we did on the ferry, with our bikes. Out of Calais, and turn right along to Wissant.^^^^^ What he said . There are multiple reasons for living in the north of England and cooler temperatures is certainly one of them.
There are planks everywhere, sadly. I'm guessing your last sentence is tongue in cheek though. I'm afraid that sort of ignorance works both ways.Actually, this was one of the day trips to France we did on the ferry, with our bikes. Out of Calais, and turn right along to Wissant.
I've been to your neck of the woods, and yes it was very nice. Some of the people though were horrible, being abusive and insulting because I have a Kent accent.....
At least down South you're not insulted for having a Northern accent, or being from Oop North
If there isn’t a Gregg’s on your route to your golf club, you either need to move golf clubs, or move house.
All your pre round sandwich problems are solved.
I was with one of my best friends who hales from Wigan. He was rather shocked at the comments made by a few of the locals towards someone with a Southern accent. There are planks everywhere, sadly. Do they have Greggs in Riyadh? ?
You've just reminded me of a benefit of living down south - down here we have Wenzels, which is like Greggs but ten times better.
