Irrespective of what you think of BGT- this is special

I thought their final performance was a tad sycophantic but still clever all the same.

The Luminites were my favourite.

HID made me suffer BGT last night.

Can't say that I found attraction final performance all that impressive compared to their other ones.

shock horror! competitor tries to win favour by appealing to the masses (that are the voting panel:whistle:)

disappointed in the Luminites- they were good but seen groups like that a hundred times.

P.S any word on the egg throwing boiler bunny ?

PS any word on the egg throwing boiler bunny ?

She was part of the orchestra, she was on BGT last year as part of a string quartet and didn't get far, apparently hid the eggs in The violin case and did it because she thought it would be funny. Nice to see that cowell has laughed it off and won't press charges.

never watched it same as I never watch x-factor,any soaps or reality dross, according to the news the winners of BRITAIN got talent !! comes from HUNGARY will the winner of HUNGARY got talent come from Scunthorpe??

Young jack wasnt all that funny though. He is a one trick pony pointing fun at his disability.
The ventriloquist was dire and really indulged Cowell.
The two little girl singers should have had more votes
The northern irish guy was just ok
The lumanites were very plain
Attraction are a unique and well put together production and in my opinion did very well.
One thing that riles me when watching the finals of this show and others like it is the overproduction that the singers get. Pulling out choirs and orchestras for them is so predictable now and to me detracts from the singers efforts.
And yes, my missus had it on the TV, apart from sport and movies I kinda detest most of this other guff.

Sorry but jack wouldn't av been in the final if it wasnt for his condition. Nice lad & it's good that he doesn't let his condition hold him back, but he's not funny.

I just watched the shadow dancing one that won it... they're from Hungary, right? Isn't this BRITAIN's Got Talent???

Britain has got talent, Hungary have just that bit more though.
To be pedantic though, they were not the only finalists who weren't from great britain.

I believe- correct me if I'm wrong - that you have to reside and work in the UK to qualify to enter.............in which case Britain DOES have Talent ;)

Never watched BGT in my life and don't intend to start now. It just sounds like Opportunity Knocks for the internet generation.

Think I read that the winners had been rejected for similar shows in a couple of other European countries already, I am sure one of them was Germany. Which would make sense seeing as we are inferior to Germany in cars, football, trains being on time and wearing Leiderhosen, so we we are now claiming their rejects are the best home grown British talent.

Go and live in Germany then, if it's so much more superior than here.

Slime.

...but you'll slag it off without any knowledge apart from dubious 3rd hand info:rolleyes:

I thought Attraction were excellent and deserved winners, but, what does it say about true Britain's?

Britain's got talent winner 2012: a Dog

Britain's got talent winner 2013: Hungarians

So, Britain's got no real talent.

Some call it dubious 3rd hand knowledge, some call it comment from people whose opinion you trust.

Last night there was a program on Channel 4 called The Returned which is a subtitled crime/zombie drama with music by Mogwai. And I know without watching it that I will like that.

Where as BGT is a talent show won in the past by a dancing dog which is judged by Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and I believe in the past Piers Morgan, in which I have no doubt everyone goes on a 'journey'. And I suppose I could waste an hour of my life watching it to confirm my assumption that it is indeed rubbish and a more pleasurable experience would be pulling my teeth out with rusty pliers. But life is too short.

I believe it was Sir Thomas Beecham who said "in this life try everything once, except incest and morris dancing". Well I'd add BGT to that.
