Our 2nd is 148yds off the back. Green is only 15yds wide but 30 long with a small tier at the back.

Miss green 3yds right - OB
Miss left - chip up from 10’ below the surface
Miss long - trees

IMO it’s poor or lazy design not to have a short par 3 which is packed with trouble everywhere

? my clubs go pw,48,52 and 56. At one time I loved all me wedges but since I bought Ping I use my PW a hell of a lot, but cannot remember when I last used me 52. That said not being a long hitter o would not use any of my mentioned clubs on our shortest par 3

Newer "distance" clubs have less loft, so a PW is now effectively a 9 iron. This means the need for a gap wedge is greater. When I next get some irons I imagine I'll get a gap wedge.

Got a par 3 course attached to my course that ranges from 80-130 yards

I've gone round in 4 over par which was great

I do need to use it more however post lockdown 1.0 everyone uses it now.. I used to have millionaires golf there

Great for the owners tho

Aylesbury park, now deceased, had a great little par 3 course. Holes between 54 and 98 yards.
Pencil bag, 4 clubs and a putter.
Used to spend lunchtimes there.

Taking 5 clubs to pitch and putt sounds a bit keen

Do you fit your pencil bag on your remote control electric trolley? ;)
