how often do you play in comps

Afternoon all,I was wondering to how often members play in comps at there clubs,I play senior comp once a week but some say I should play midweek and Saturday comps,I do try to get a one or two friendly matches a week.What are your thoughts please.

I try and play in every Saturday comp going, but some weekends it's not doable. Try and get at least one game a week in though. Living and working 5 minutes from the course makes it pretty handy!

I don't really play comps at my home club but play quite a few opens during the season. Also play a few medals at my away course.

I play in as many comps as the Mrs will allow. Usually our comps swap days. One week Sunday the next Saturday.

The group of guys also play a midweek game on Wednesday. Enjoy getting out midweek after work

Every Saturday comp i can get to really. Our place also has at least 1 mid-week qualifier per month, sometimes 2, so i'l try and sneek a crafty day off for them as well.
Just been told off an old employer that there is a good chance of a place coming available in the next fortnight working 10/6, and its mine if i want it. Could be on the course for 6.30 everyday, and be on more money. :clap:

Every weekend for me. We have 1 every Sunday but try and get a Saturday open comp if possible.

I used to play in 3 a week,the 9/18 hole Thursday comp,the club comp on a sat /sun and a members comp on what everday didn't clash with the clubs,i also played in the inter-club matches on a Friday afternoon,and fitted a few friendly games inbetween,i think I had the balance just right,pity the wife didn't think so!!!!

I used to play three times a week at my old place now I have cut it down to one a week normally although the odd occasion it can be none or two.

Every competition I can. Most of the weekend ones and a few midweek ones in the summer
