How Many golf shoes do I need?

You only really need 2 pairs, one for wet and one for dry weather. But if you want to buy more then go for it, you're not doing anyone any harm.

2 pairs Adidas something or others - different styles.
2 Ecco Dryjoy equivalents (1 summer only as split, but too comfy to chuck just yet)
1 Footjoy Classics undergoing refurb
1 Footjoy Icons
1 Footjoy AQLs
1 Adidas Spikeless
Just sold a pair of Icon Myjoys and a pair of Callaway 'spats'.

Regular, day to day, shoes are Footjoy Myjoy or Professional 'Teaching' shoes.

And like the shop keeper in Mr Benn here I am. Taken receipt of three pairs of myjoys this week still in wrapping waiting to be broken in. A lovely black patent pair, a patent navy and white, and a black and purple outfit. Currently got 19 but three pairs are on their last legs after 6-7 years so they will be going soon, probably after the summer. Have my eyes on a wild pair to take for H4H

FootJoy AQL for use in wet weather (two years old and still keep my feet dry)
Ecco Casual Cool III for dry weather

I've got 3.

With spikes I have one white pair, one black pair and I have one spikeless pair.

I've got 2 pairs, Stuburt Helium tours in white that are getting on and may have to go in the skip soon.

And then I've got a black pair of Mizuno MP's which I really like, ideally if I could is get the white versions as well but they are like gold dust to find nowadays

Like my women, I have always had only one... I use them through sun, rain, snow till the fall apart in a year.. Then I get a news one (shoe, not the woman)

Why does any normal man need more than one pair? (Does not apply to Homer). I am in the market for a 8W FJ DNAs but can't find any!!!

I have 2 pairs in current use + a pair that can only be used in the dry as they seem to be made of teabag material...!
