How many balls do you take on a round?

I usually buy 2 or 3 dozen AD333s at a time as they usually have some kind of multibuy offer. I just chuck them all in the pocket of my trolley bag. I reckon there's about 25-30 or so in there at the moment.

I don't usually lose more than a couple per round, but I don't like the idea of only having a few in there. I reckon it would put extra pressure on me, as I would be thinking, "don't hit this out of bounds, I only have 2 left" or something.

Between 8-10 total. Breaks down to about 3 newbies, couple near-new, and a few "others.

Haven't run out during a round, yet.

I play off 10 so I'm a fairly competant golfer. I think the most balls I've ever lost in a round is perhaps five. I can't be exact as my memory won't allow me to remember such horrific images but it's somewhere around that number. Of my most recent outings I've lost roughly one ball per round. Yesterday was one, the round before none, etc, etc, etc.

How many balls are in my bag??? About 50!!! Why??? Because I have this horrible, recurring nightmare that I'm on the course and I run out of balls. How rediculous is that??? Surely, if you lost more than five you'd walk in or, declare yourself an NR and borrow one from a partner.

My bag is so full of balls that it won't sit on my trolley properly!!! What a knob!!! What's even worse is that I've got some balls that I'd never use in a million years - they're in there just to make me feel better!!! I'm sure that one of them is a range ball!!!

To compound my misery, I've even taken the time to mark them!!! Think about it Auburn!!! Sitting in front of the TV, Sharpie in hand, pull out a Wilson Ultra Titanium nuff hard - now, what should I do here??? Put my usual three black dots on it or give it to my Dad??? I can hear the little voice saying "give it to your Dad........" - I can see the black dots going on........

I must be the only golfer in the country who's balls weigh more than his clubs.

Start off with about 10 in the bag (well I might need them ) and after a few games sort through the 25 or so that seem to have accumulated.

I obviously must hit my drives into the same areas as other cr*p golfers as I find so many.
