How long playing to hit landmark moments

Started playing around age 10/11 on the driving range only and was a good 3 years before I broke 100 and did it in style with an 89 breaking both 100 & 90 barriers at once (albeit on a par 64 course) age 14ish

breaking 80 came shortly after (18 months) and then maybe another 18 months before I broke 70 for the first time.

The holy grail came in July this year with my first hole in one - that one came a mere 12 years after taking up the game and felt like the 12 years were just building up to that moment

Broke 100 mark(94) after 7 months regularly playing,since 8 months later only broke 100 mark 3 times since(99,96,99)averaging around 100/102 ish.Silly mistakes.But that is golf.

Breaking 80 again will be a big landmark for me. Not been within sniffing distance all season. Once I crack that confidence rises and I can attack 75. Don't hold your breath though. It could be a while

I don't remember stuff like this, I remember level par rounds and best rounds under competition and I know I have had a few hole in ones and a 240 yard eagle... But generally the breaking of these levels no.

I did, 8 birdies, 7 bogies, 3 pars to shoot 1 under at Hollingbury in Brighton.

XBox didn't exist then... if it did (like my son) I probably would have never have left my bedroom :p

Xbox? It's the internet that keeps teenage boys in their bedroom playing with their little joysticks all night.

Broke 100 2nd or 3rd round....
Broke 90 with my first handicap card (80)
Broke 80 within a few months of that
Broke 70 a couple of years later...

Sometimes I find this game so easy....
Sometimes it kicks me in the teeth....
