5386 off the yellow society tee's

197 off the medal

Off Whites 6405 Par 71

Longest Par 3 199
Longest Par 4 474
Longest Par 5 521

A course in are area has a Par 5 over 700 yards. Has anyone heard of one as long. When it opened they tried to get it to a Par 6

I know, it just annoys me that I can hit two good shots and still be nowhere near!

Hit a good drive and a good 3 wood today with wind behind and only just made the green on one!

I go away to courses like Blacknest which is about a thousand yards shorter than mine and end up playing way under handicap.

Are you playing in the Blackmoor Meet ? It is only four miles further on from Blacknest, and is a much better course.

Didn't realise it was on! Let me look through the other sections and find out when it's on etc and I'll let you know. I only really check out this section or I'd be on here hours and MrsFourPutt would moan!

6776 from medal tees
6389 from yellow, 6072 from blue, 5475 from red

The LET plays a combination of these tees, predominantly from yellow

All in yards...

5773 off the yellows, par 69.
6207 off the whites, par 70.

Longest par 5 (3rd) is 548W/528Y
Longest par 4 (4th) is 450W/434Y
Our par 3 situation is an odd one, off of the yellows the 16th plays 193, but in a medal this hole is a short 258 par 4 so the longest par 3 in a medal is the 5th at 177.

6612 off the blocks, which to me is plenty long enough without being silly.

Longest par 5 is 510 yards, longest par 4 is 448 yards, and the shortest meanest nastiest par 3 is a mere 124 yards.

Remind me never to play you at Blacknest

You wouldn't want to Smiffy. In the winter when its wet,it would give Lydd a run for its money !! Mind you i haven't played there for years so it may have improved.

It may have, it's not the best course in the area, but we get a good deal for work events and the food in the clubhouse is great. It does get a bit moist though!

5865yds off the whites - par 69
longest hole 519yds par 5
Longest par 4 447yds SI 1
Longest par 3 177yds SI 12

It looks quite an easy test on paper but with the wind normally in your face for most of the difficult holes it is no pushover. Play it hard and it will bite!
