Hi all,

I was hoping to meet/arrange a round with any members at Dulwich, with the intention of trying to join. I appreciate the long wait and joining fee for the club, but prepared for it.

I live very close to the club and have recently started playing again due to three children. Was previously off 4 in my youth and now just about still playing in single figures.

I have joined another local club, and although this is lovely and friendly the course is very unique and limited.

I play with numerous colleagues at work but everyone I play with normally lives in Kent. Hence the ask and reach out for help.

Thank You

There used to be a member on the forum, but not sure there is anymore. Its your best option if you do live close for sure

Sorry for the delay in replying - been away.

I could get you on as a guest sometime - but would need to be mid-week (preferably Tue/Wed/Thu) - my weekends are pretty much full for the foreseeable. If you're interested send me a PM.

I hope you are a summer golfer only SLN, because Dulwich & S suffers from a lot of closures in wet winters, I know they are trying to a lot of work on the course so it can stay open longer but only time will tell

It's true that we get very wet and very very muddy in winter - particularly if its a wet one. But we don't close that often - athough the holes at the bottom are more frequently prone to it. But its also correct that we're doing a lot of work to improve things. It's unfortunate that we are on particulary horrible London Clay ...

Played it a few times as it's only up the road from me, but not for a few years now, a lovely course and a good all round test. this chat makes me want to play it agin (y)
