Did anyone see Ryan Moore tonight on tv? He was wearing a grey hoodie and white trousers !! Not that there is anything wrong with white trousers ;) Don't want to stir up the old dress code debate,
but would a PGA tour pro be allowed on your course in a hoodie ??

I saw him and he looked remarably like someone on last nights Crimewatch! I assumed he nicked some clubs and was just trying them out..... well that's sorted out tonights stereotyping!

In a word........NO!!!

How the hell can you play the game with a hood flapping in your face on every drive follow through. Ridiculous.

I once had a session on the range whilst wearing a hoodie. Never again, the damned thing was flapping all over the place when I swung!

I'm not a fan of hoodies at all so maybe my view is influenced by that but personally I thought it was a step too far. I'm all for a bit of variation an colour but I also believe you should look smart. Hoodies do not look smart. What next, jeans or combat trousers?

He also had a SHIRT & TIE on underneath. I have no problem with hoodies, no different than a windbreaker/waterproof jacket in my opinion.

Maybe I'm too old school but no way should a hoodie be allowed. I can understand in the US with its prevalent hoodie culture (more than here) that it could be seen as a way of getting hoodies interested and as a marketing tool but I just think they look wrong on a course

Absolutely no way is a hoodie suitable for a golf course.

In addition, I think that any course that allows jeans, t-shirts or trainers should be ploughed up and the land used to build nice small houses for poor people.

Anyone who can play to that standard can wear what they want IMO, but if we're going to extend the dress code John Daly should be first to get the treatment. Flamboyant I like, Poulter, Fowler but Daly is just an eyesore.

Daly isn't offensive, just in bad taste. Ricky Fowler's tango man outfit on the other hand...Now that's what I call offensive.
