Have you had your moneys worth?

Played 9 first team matches 4 of which were away, all come with a free bite to eat afterwards and got a nice waterproof top for playing. Usually £90.

Played in 4 other events representing the club for nothing with free food, travel and golf.

Played in the English Team Championships representing the county. All expenses paid over three days and two nights.

Not sure how many home qualifying rounds I've played as our website is down but I'd estimate between 30 and 35 maybe more. Between £2 and £3.50 per event extra. Think I'm definatly a few quid up on this over the year.

35 Friday roll up games. £10 a time, £390 prize money on the Order of merit run by them. Generally playing for extra £10 in the games which I do alright on.

Probably around another 20 - 25 games on the course.

They have a practise gound too but only been down there a handful of times.

£675 including a locker and union subs. £760 for 30+

I'd hate to see my bar bill for the year though. Would be very cheap entertainment if I spent less time in there or began drinking Lime and Soda.

Not really, for my £950 fees I've probably only played 30 rounds and used the practice facilities approx 12 times. Been too busy with work this year, plus I just haven't enjoyed being a member of the club which is why I've just resigned and started looking for a new home

Oh YESSSSSS..

i must have played at least 4 times a week between May and Sept. then down to just 3 times a week in october, november wasn't very golf friendly maybe 6 times the whole month and this month i have yet to get on my course,

i reckon with 3 months of the membership to go i am averaging around £4 a round

I would say so, I usually play both my days off every week, then during the light night I play after work also, maybe 3/4 nights a week, I would take advantage of the practice areas also, discount range balls etc and the putting green and short game area is very good also.
Green fees up to 750 for this coming year, but for the amount I play it is worth it.

Done about 85 rounds this year plus all the use of the practise facilities which are pretty good. Plenty of comps to play in plus scratch league games and team stuff. Won about £400 on my pro shop account (niiiice)

Got some good mates to play regularly with and met a lot of nice people in various comps so I'd say the fees have definitely been worth it this year. (if you'd asked me the same question half way through the year i'd have laughed and it would have been a resounding NO)

No.

That is unusual for me, but doing my back for nearly 3 months didn't help, nor extending the house, and now frost/snow.

As Arnie says though, I'll be back.
