You only play 14 holes?
Just played really really poorly yesterday (might as well of been hitting a ping pong ball) but remembered what to do today and shot a one under handicap round

12th/13th?Could not believe what I saw at our course today. Greenkeepers have been doing some grass cutting when conditions permit (even when they don't by the look of some of the tractor ruts on the fairways) but today a guy was on our wettest hole with tractor and gang mower, he cut some drier areas but then made a few passes through some of the wettest areas where there's plainly standing water.
There was literally a bow wave ahead of the cutters that was 8 or 10 inches high!
Madness!

That's what I thoughtYes, you're stood at the back of the 14th green looking across to the 13th, nice picture!
People saying holes-in-one when, in my head, it should be hole-in-ones.
Also, when a putt gets spat out of the hole directly back at you, people refer to it as a 360º lip out when, in fact, it's a 180º lip out.
That’s the problem with keeping clothes in the wardrobe. Leave the clothes in the wardrobe too long and they shrink and never fit againI've got some in my wardrobe, barely used, unfortunately they don't fit at the minute
I must have at least a dozen pairs of trousers just like that.I've got some in my wardrobe, barely used, unfortunately they don't fit at the minute
Depends if you're speaking from the perspective of you/ball or ball/hole. Basically both are wrong
I can't see how perspective changes anything, the ball still comes back at you.
If nobody talked about 360 lip outs it couldn't be his irritation, and then he would have nothing to talk about.perspective right there
forget the 'you' part, the ball travelled (nearly) 360º around the hole
Edit, apologies its your irritation so I'll let it drop anyway
