Found this old classic on the course, someone must have lost a dear old friend.
aaaadid you ever play with these? If I remewmber they were hard as bricks.
Frightened to hit this one incase it explodes!

I remember hitting one of those with my dads old Wilson Sam Snead 7 iron. The shaft broke and the ball went about 50 yards...

I found on recently that was almost like new and was going to compare how it performed against new balls, unfortunatly a shanked if off the first tee on our 9 hole course.

I've hit them before though, we had a load on the practice ground at Tain. cut though the wind much better than a modern ball.
