Good evening,

Considering a 1 night/ 2 rounds thing over the next week and don’t want to play using mats on the fairway (or winter greens).

Any suggestions for the fife / Angus region? If not anywhere you’d recommend within a 3h drive of Scotland’s central belt?

Thanks

It's been a while but I've never seen mats at Kinghorn before or Cowdenbeath

Courses aren't special but it's 18 holes of golf

I think Burnisland is another course that doesn't use mats. Lundin Links never used to either, but might require them in certain areas. Worth contacting them direct and asking.

Thanks for all the input. Positive LFT test means I’m unlikely to be able to take up any of these. Hopefully the thread helps someone else.

Has anyone played Arbroath?

I’m in the Tassie in May and am researching local (Dundee, Angus, Fife) courses to play whilst there. Not looking to break the bank, and happy for either parkland, moorland, or links
