Evnroll putters

Don't get all this scores improving questioning. Putts per round may improve but if other aspects of the game are off on any given round then surely scores and handicap won't improve. It's a multi-facet sport and putting is just one part of that surely. I know from my own experiences you can have a 30 putt per round game but if you're struggling off the tee or missing too many greens it isn't really going to help the score excessively

I get that but if your driving goes off then your handicap may not improve even if your putting is brilliant. The thread is about the benefits of these putters. The putter can only impact on one aspect of your game and if it does that then you can't ask more of it.

Aye but I'm thinking average scores over the year. They have to come down if one aspect of your game has improved, specially putting.

It certainly can't do any harm 😁. You are right, better putting should lead to lower scores assuming the rest of your game remains the same or even improves.

Ultimately the biggest indicator for improvement within the game for everyone is scoring , and for us mere club golfers its also the HC.

That tells you the level you are playing at when it matters - if someones ball striking has improved then the scores should , if the putting has improved then the scores will improve. its the litmus test - it shows how you are as a amateur golfers.

My driving improved my scores and HC improved , then my short game improved - so followed my HC. If i improve another aspect of my game then i have no doubt my HC would improve further

Nah, he's still playing at the same level with the rest of his game I imagine. By your logic if his putting doesn't improve his handicap will rise.

I'm genuinely not any more. Was Phil who brought the handicap up.

Snell & Beezerk simply turned the screw
Everytime someone gets positive and they aren't Cat 1 he brings the old, expect to see handicap coming down line, he's like a cloud on a sunny day.

Didn't take it that way to be honest
Just me mate, I find his posting to be a bit "in your face" at times, could've simply asked if you'd seen any improvement in scores etc, rather than Ultimate test etc, like you'd stated, you were happy so why should it matter to anyone else?
