Take my choice of words which ever way you want. But if you do not sink 2 or 3 cans on the course followed by another couple in the bar afterwards, then get in your car and drive home then it was not aimed at you.
By the way Picto read my post properly then comment next time. It clearly says that I do not have a problem with anyone who has a couple on the course followed by a few in the bar afterwards, as long as they then do not get in their car afterwards to drive home. So you may find you are the ignorant tool for commenting on a post you have not actually read properly.
The old boys do it all the time at my place, even more so in winter. Played with a couple of old boys in the winter league that sunk a hip flask each then another couple of pints in the bar then drove home. Most of the old boys at my place are doing it, you see them have 2 or 3 pints of ale then drive in the Tuesday/Thursday swindle every week. That is who my rant was aimed at.
So if anyone has taken offence for me calling them a mod edit then obviously you do have a few then drive and see no problem with it, so maybe the word is a good way to sum you up.
I did, in fact, read your post properly. To me it clearly implied that those who have a few cans on the course as well as in the bar go on to drive home well over the limit. That is of course, just my opinion and clearly not the intention of your post - so I apologise if I misunderstood.
I took offence with the use of the word mod edit, as to me it seemed you were bundling those with learning difficulties with those (who ought to know better) consciously choose to drive whilst over the limit. (Most) are born with learning difficulties and not a conscious choice - drink driving on the other hand is a conscious choice by, frankly, deplorable individuals.
I can think of much more appropriate four letter words that could be used to describe drink drivers than mod edit.
