Cornelia Diamond (Balek Turkey)

Had a result this week.

I was booked to go to lykia world golf resort in Turkey on the 1st September however the travel agents have called to say they are no longer sending people to that hotel. They've offered us two weeks in the cornelia diamond instead which is 5star (the other one was 4star).

To top it all off whilst the lykia world golf course looked great our new hotel has a 27 hole nick faldo designed course and looks superb! Only downer is its 77euros a round but I still cant wait.

Anyone been to the cornelia diamond before?

Looks can be deceiving!!!!.

The Faldo was the worst of the four that I played last month. After most of the group that I went with raved about how good the course was when they last played it, they were disgusted when they walked off.

It looks like they have assumed that they HAD a great course and have let their standards drop. There are loads of better courses than the Faldo.

I also played The Montgomerie, The Sultan, and the Carya and they were all superb.

I have no idea about the hotel, my comments are purely based on the golf course.

The hotel does look fantastic.

I'm taking my clubs, the Mrs has given me permission to play 4 rounds so it makes sense to take them.

I've got to say i'm not too fussed about the course, i'm in need of a nice holiday and sime guarenteed sun on the back will be lovely.
