Club manufactures stuff you don’t like?

Does anyone else have one manufacturers clubs they just don’t like or suit their eye etc.

Mine is Titleist, just don’t get on with their irons Tried AP2 a couple of times and the set up just didn’t work for me. Woods are the same and no matter if its 3 wood, driver or hybrid they just don’t look right to me. Not had the same with wedges or putters, which I quite like.

Most other makes had no trouble hitting, anyone else?

Callaway - i do have an Odyssey putter in the bag at the moment, but otherwise I just can't be doing with their equipment for some irrational subconscious reason.

actually i can with the balls, which click like little pebbles off a putter and bigger pebbles off a driver

Ping putters

After being an original Anser worshipper, as soon as I moved away from it - I just didn't like the look of anything they have to offer. The way they look, the way they sit, the weight was all wrong to me.

To be fair, a lot of other manufacturers are catching up with annual product releases..

I have personally never liked Wilson, dont know why and Cobra.. i have hit cobra irons and woods and left feeling massively underwhelmed..

im not a fan of any of the new tm gear. went downhill looks wise after the R9 !! love alot of their old gear!


in saying that callaway prototype irons look nice.

I had a few hits with a Titleist driver once. Anything not out of the middle went no where. I will stick to my Ping thanks very much.

I'm not much for Cally looks wise. The other is Miura.

i also dont like cobra's old gear but they seem to have turned a corner. their old drivers were very tinney !

time to upset the fanboys lol, never ever got on with Mizuno irons. Not that I dont like them as such just never been able to hit them, right from when I wanted a set of the original TPs over 20 years ago

Happy with my Ping's but really like Mizuno irons and since falling in love with my 3w (courtesy of Gibbo), I'm looking into and at Cleveland a lot more.

TM is getting too gimmicky with everything from woods to irons and even their pros with the way they had them all paint stupid orange stripes on their faces. (yours looks great though G1BB0!)
