thought this guy was a breath of fresh air on the golfing scene but what a total knob,he wouldn't speak to reporters he said speak to my manager, every player talks to reporters.

yesterday when asked would be back to europe to play again he said no never he misses home to much,me thinks the course was to hard for him ,he didn't even no the par for the course ,what a knob.

just been interviewed on Sky. Didnt come across too badly but he really didnt like the fact that the fans had cameras????? apparently in america there are no cameras and fans stay respectfully quiet. they dont crowd around to watch and line the fairways??? I must be watching something else most weekends then. Bubba, im a fan, but you played bad, and the fans are there because they like you. they wanna hit it Bubba long and they buy the stuff you advertise. If you dont like the fans then dont take the money so that you can spend obscene amounts on really quite ugly watches..rant over....for now...

He insisted on his own courtesy car, and refused to share with another player. :( Don't think Ewan Murray is taken with him. ;)

Yeah, just seen him on Sky, doesn't like the hundreds of fans all with cams, can't see that many people on the course let alone hundreds.

Played shite and just wants to blame some one else!!!

he got $200k just for appearing

think we would be respectful and happy if we were in his shoes fellas.............bloody right ;)

It really pi$$e$ me off to see that ammount of money going to a prick like that just to appear over this side of the pond, no wonder the world in such a mess

I was under the impression that the European Tour (and the PGA Tour) did not permit appearance money being paid for their events.

I watched him this morning and the post round interview and have totally changed my opinion of the guy.
He wouldn't share a buggy with another player, wouldn't give an interview this morning, then went out and played sh1te.
He was complaining all the way round about cameras on the tee,how does he cope at the Phoenix with all the beer cans flying around.
As Steve said, I don't think that the course suited him, A bit of thought and finesse was required, not smashing the crap out of it on every tee.
He was totally disrespectful in his post round interview, stating that he wasn't used to this kind of tournament, kind of making out that it was inferior in some way, then said he wanted to go home as soon as possible.

All this combined with the £200k appearance fee and sporting the £500k watch = Total knob!

The worst bit of the interview was when he stated, "I'll be back for the British, but only because its a major."

It would be nice if he got the name of the event right before trying to denigrate it.

Always seemed like a nice guy but seems to have lost the plot this week.

I was under the impression that , on this forum, the word "Knob" was sort of like a term of endearment.

We need another "Forum word" for when someone deserves to be called something worse

How about "The Guys A Bubba"

Fragger
:D

He's American. Why are we surprised. Most of them don't like travelling anyway.
Don't know why he's going to come back for The Open as he's got as much chance of winning it as Fragger has....
