Just read craw's thread on bagging a game at Archerfield. Got me thinking, what are the best courses you've managed to blag a game at? I used to play with a guy that had corporate membership at Wentworth, I've played all three courses and it's not cost me a penny.
I car share to work with a woman, her brother is a good golfer and he has mentioned to her a few times about me taking him to Broadstone. He is a member at Queenwood..........

De vere herons reach, told the. We may be interested in the £295 membership. Gave us all a round for £15 each instead of the £30+

Had no intention on becoming a member.

Best I've done so far. Other my brother in laws company sponsored his course for something, dunno what, but they we given loads of free tee times so I've been round there with him.

Played Sunningdale New years back having to impersonate the Club Captain.
The Secretay had a feeebie game lined up tbrough the Golf Secretary Association or something and the Captain was going along and was given courtesy...
Captain was ill and I got drafted in....
Smashing....

A few mates Marshall the Welsh Open at Celtic Manor. They get some free games there and can take someone with them for £20, I have had a few twenty quiders there.

I normally just invite myself along with my father in law and normally it works.
So far blagged Archerfield, Gullane numerous times, Gleneagles all courses, Mortonhall, the hunting at Slaley Hall, Dornoch, Royal Aberdeen.

One time he will tell me to do one but til then I will enjoy the perks of his contacts.

Not blagged a decent round anywhere for years. I use to get on free at Royal Wimledon as I knew the assistant pros but thats about it. Would love to be smart enough to get on at Wentworth or Sunningdale

When my brother was in marketing and had a decent advertising spend available he was taken all over the place, all of the Open Venues, Wentworth, Sunningdale etc. I was jealous as hell.

I had invitations to play at St Georges Hill and West Hill this year, in Surrey Chamber of Commerce Society days. Great courses, and the food was not bad either. Also playing Hindhead as a guest in a charity day at the end of August.
