Hi All,

Played at Cobtree Manor today, a course local to me with a pal.

Played out of my skin and carded an 84 which off my handicap is a net 56. The par for the course is 69.

This really was a great round, I had 4 300+ yard drives confirmed today and it was a card marked as per competition rules.

Not bad for a 28 handicapper!!!

Cant wait for my next outing on saturday.

That is beyond good off 28. You clearly cant stay up there for long, breaking 90 is a reasonable standard and to break 85 is competent golf to anybodys definition.

See, once you break 90, the mental barrier comes up and its goodtimes from now on.... with the occasional bad time.

Well done cracking score!

I'm a 28 Handicap player scored an 83 last September at the works society do which took place at The Ramada Glocester.

One of my mates a 12 handicap player still calls me a bandit even when I score no-where near that round.

Of course my society handicap is now not even close to my proper official handicap.

BTW. Congrats on the 84, may there be many more to come
