I see there's an advert running on sky just now for them. The ad state's their the most used hybrids on tour in the Us. That's quite a stat considering I don't know anyone that even owns one back here.
Obviously good kit, I think Robert Karlson left Titleist to be with Adams for this season.

Any of you folks use Adams kit?

Had the A7 hybrid a while back. Had the wrong shaft in it for me but when I got it right it was sweet.
I think they're very underated clubs

I've had Adams hybrids in one bag or another for about 6 years.

Great clubs that come in many styles. I have a slim one for fairway/tee use and one that works well everywhere.

Anybody who ever encountered Bombsquadgolf would have been bombarded by the love for Adams gear - and it lives up to the hype too.

Adams have a relatively small Tour staff - Robert Karlsson has signed with them from this season, so they don;'t have as much recognition as TM or Ping, but they are a top brand and have been making excellent hybrids and fairway woods for some years. Drivers and irons are OK too, but the fairways/hybrids are their forte. They are high on the list of clubs that players play even though they are not paid for doing so.

i had never used a Adams Hybrid till this lad let me try one on the driving range ,,i hit five shots and all five went bullet straight,,the club head was quite weighty so the club felt effortless to swing throw *Tour Issue* ADAMS IDEA PRO 18* 2 IRON HYBRID

will probably buy one in the future

Really liking the advert, certainly got me considering trying one. (better than that bloody Quiros ad)
After posting this thread the other week, I've since discovered my old man uses one and has done for years! Swears by them, wouldn't use any other brand of hybrid/rescue.

I had the A7 OS and hated it, extreme offset at address, however now got the Wilson Staff 4h Fybrid and its an excellent club, decent distance and very straight. You even get a decent headcover unlike the Adams

Never liked them and they aren't stocked in any great numbers over here. They obviously have a big appeal in the US but it makes me wonder why they aren't exported here and elsewhere unless Adams aren't keen to compete worldwide with the others. That and they a rubbish to hit

Had a couple of sets of Adams Pro forged. Stock set included buttery 5-PW satin forged heads on True Temper Black Gold rifle shafts (released in direct competition to Royal Precisions Project X) and 3 & 4 hybrids (with virtually no offset) on Aldila VS Protos 80g shafts. A very high spec off the shelf set and vastly underrated.

Both AG and DG stock Adams hybrids, DG have for some time....

Still looking for my ideal hybrid and I may look at the A7 with a different shaft....

I started out with an Adams fairway wood, an A3 I think. Was meant to be a cross between a 3 wood and a hybrid and it worked really well though a bit shorter in distance than a regular 3 wood. Had the best headcover I have had, was hinged at the top and split vertifically and magnetized. Worked really well.

My dad bought his first set in 10 years when he started playing again last year. He tried everything from Callaway, Mizuno, Ping and Taylormade and ended up preferring a set of Adams A7s.

Adams make some cracking kit, I had the pro gold boxer with stock Matrix altus shaft and it was fantastic, one of those ones where you wish you still had it.No offset and bullet straight, great from the fairway and tee,not massively forgiving though and I think that's why I sold it.

That and they a rubbish to hit

I've had 2 Adams hybrids in the bag for some time now an I certainly don't find them rubbish to hit.
The most used hybrid on the us tour, surely that alone speaks for itself, and should convince anyone looking to buy a new hybrid to at least give them a try.
The fact that they're not massively stocked over here doesn't make the slightest bit of difference to me,if the club works, I'm happy.

I think that half the problem is that they only used to be stocked by Direct Golf and alot of people assumed that they were an 'own label' brand like John Letters when they were, in fact, much better than that.

They make a vast array of styles of hybrid. So there should be a style that suits.

My two have little offset. The heads happen to match the 2 in Watson's bag when he came 2nd at Troon.

Good buys can be had on Ebay - provide you know what you are looking for.
