I even pitched in from 80 yards on the par 4 18th, for an eagle to kill the game off.

I played with an absolute gentleman, 3 1/2 hours of bliss, even when I was 3 down.

Into the next round in the club's major singles matchplay comp. Yeehar!

I am still waiting to play the final of the 'WINTER PAIRS' at my club. It's a joke now, how can you play a winter competition in May, there should be better discipline on pairs that delay playing qualifiers.

Last year I was 3 *up* after 15 and lost on the 19th hole.
On Tuesday this week I was 4 up after 11, still 3 up after 15, and lost on the 20th hole.
I just seem to be unable to close out a match.
