that includes:

New putter
New driver
New five wood
New pair of shoes
Lots of golf balls
Not a single green fee
License to play golf (seriously in Holland you've gotta get one).
Membership.

Haven't added money or driving range...

A little bit more than I thought, after adding up it's approx £1800.

Next months going to be a nightmare though. The misses has been invited to join the club. So I have 2 x adult subs, 1 x Junior sub and 1 x joining fee, for a grand total of £2524.00 and that's before I've hit a ball.

:( :(

As it's been my first year playing it's been a bit expensive, far more than I expected. There always seems to be something else I need. But it should drop considerably now as I have just about all the kit I really need.

I'm trying to resist the urge this year and stick with what I have. Apart from maybe a new putter just after Christmas with my AG vouchers :D

I actually track all my expenses so I know exactly.

It's £3,653.68 :D

That's including £1,100 membership, locker (£100) Lessons (£200). A couple of R9 Drivers (Don't ask - £600), new wedges (£150), trolley (£100), new bag (£120), waterproofs (£150), clothes (£400 - I like clothes :)). Plus probably about £100 in range balls. God knows how much in new balls.

I actually brought my irons, putter and original Driver, 3 wood and hybrids in Sep 09. So have been another £800-£900 on that was well I guess.

Damn I hate adding things up. Ignorance is bliss. But I think it's been money well spent.

The enjoyment I've got out of golf this year and the new friends I've made has made it worth every penny.

How much? What bloody size is your locker....a tardis?!

Yeah, not cheap I know. It's a full size locker for the year, I can fit my clubs, trolley and clothing in etc.

Just not Daleks and Cybermen :D

£1000 on two memberships,

God knows what I've bought and sold on eBay, God knows what I've spent on shoes and clothing, God knows what I spent on travel to away days and competitions.

All Iknow is that come the end of the month I am looking forward to my next pay slip and it starts again. However the wee problem called kids is now starting to kick in. They are expensive hobbies, even more so than golf.
