I played a two man scramble two weeks ago.
We came second with a score of 62 ( 9 under ) we had 6 birdies and our combined handicap was 3.
Winning score was 61.6, so we missed the win by .4, which was all the more frustrating as we both missed a short putt for birdie on the 12th hole. :(

I was going to suggest that the thread be closed after Snelly's post, because he has summed the argument up perfectly, but obviously he will have just added petrol to the fire by suggesting that most on here aren't as good as they think they are ( which is spot on ).

The small tins of enamel that you can buy from model shops are ideal.
Make sure the club is clean and dry, put the paint on with a small brush, then wipe with some tissue wrapped around a flat edge (ruler is ideal). HTH's
