Your Patch!

Have the Downs and the Chilterns on the doorstep

I walked my dog this evening on the Malvern Hills and took this picture. I sometimes forget how beautiful it is here.

We have lovely diverse areas in these islands. Whats nice about your patch?

Could see the Malverns pretty much every day from where we lived in Herefordshire, will post my neck of woods tomorrow

I love Herefordshire, it is such a lovely unspoiled county. The view on my picture is looking into Herefordshire as the Malverns divide Worcestershire and Herefordshire.

We spent a week in Sussex recently and loved it. We stayed in a lovely village called 'Findon' It was a few miles from the sea and had a backdrop of the South Downs.

There are a couple of decent ponds where I live in Frensham. More lakes than ponds really and seem to attract quite a few people.

I live in the heart of the country with green fields & some bright yellow in the summer , savage views both from the house and from our farm , beautifully quiet and relaxed with good neighbours .. often use to take down the gun and head off acrosss the fields for a walk and never even fire a shot , sat on the hill and watched the sun come up and go down (not in the one sitting tho ha )

HiD has a charity house party for ICS every year and it goes on til early hours ,no complaints

beautiful place all in all

The jungle scenes in It ain't half hot mum was filmed in Frensham. Not a lot of people know that.;) I did a disco with a mate of mine at the old Eldon Hotel for the cast to celebrate the final show. Talk about cheapskate.

LOL :) Lot's of movies shot around Frensham Ponds, Hankley Common and Bourne Woods - Skyfall at Hankley near Elstead (I suppose it does look a bit 'Scotlandish') and likes of Gladiator, Robin Hood etc etc in Bourne Woods
