Your Patch!

I walked my dog this evening on the Malvern Hills and took this picture. I sometimes forget how beautiful it is here.

We have lovely diverse areas in these islands. Whats nice about your patch?

looks lovely.

cant take a picture of my urban concrete jungle- if the natives see a camera you might as well have a bullseye on yer back- some nice parts in Befnal though if you look (the other way)

10 mins one way to the city centre, 10 mins the other to the New Forest, shown here with a few of its 'moveable obstructions'!

Lucky they are only in the sand, last time I played the forest course, 5 of the little so & so's were having a sit down protest on the green, the one right next to the road (forget which hole) and moveable obstructions or not, they were not moving.

Yeah thats Bramshaw, most of their greens are fenced off but that one isn't for some reason. None of our greens are fenced but our ponies seem to be better versed in etiquette!:D

I played in a competition there years ago and I was warned about the blind short par 4 with the burn/stream behind.
Played a perfect tee shot which just made the downslope.
Walked up to the green to see my ball 6 foot from the pin and 6 foot from the burn.
Three big ponies were grazing on the green.
The greenstaff used to sprinkle sharp sand on the greens to stop the ponies grazing.

A mere dander to dingle, a bus ride to bootle and a gentle cycle to speke. What more could a new-liverpudlian ask for?

Basically mate, what you're saying, is that all the best parts of Liverpool are the roads out of it? ;)

Bournemouth beach 2 miles away and the New Forest 5 miles the other way. Tough decision in the summer......looking at the delights on the beach or a cream tea in the forest
