In the last couple of years 24, sure prior would have been worse.

I had 17 or 18 once. In fairness we were walking back to the hotel at 8.00am and boarded the bus at 8.30am. I don't remember much of the round, but played better drunk on the front 9 and could feel myself sobering up on the back 9 and that did not go well

5 points in a nine hole morning comp at Royal Skegness. I came second last with half a dozen lads on 6 points.
Funnily enough I birdied a par three on the 18 hole comp in the afternoon for 4 points.

Last weekend saw me coming 40th out of 41 in my division with 20 points, (41st was a DQ ). It's not something I intend to repeat! Although I think my lowest was 17 last winter on silly frozen greens. I had no excuse last weekend. The greens were so receptive, you could have knifed a 1 iron in and it would have held.

Lost my head and blobbed about 14 holes.

The chaps I played with were fantastic with me though and I can look back on it now and have a laugh about it as I've progressed quite a lot since.

This is only my first year of membership but my lowest points this year was 23. That wasn't actually a Stableford comp, it was a medal (first round of the Club Championship) but I put in my worst round of the year by a comfortable distance. I was still off 24 h'cap then as well.

Only ever played one stableford so my best and worst is 40 points. At my currently club we only have stablefords on Tuesdays which unless I'm on holiday I can't play in.
