Charity quiz night at the club on Saturday.
Dress code..................."Smart casual".
What the hell does that mean?

I've always found the term to be slightly ambiguous.

Cooden is a "traditional" club with a rather strict dress code.
I don't want to turn up "over dressed" but by the same token I don't want to look a complete and utter plum.

Smart casual:

Shirt should have a collar, i.e polo or button-up, trousers (inc jeans) but not shorts and no open toed footwear

Basically wear what you want but it shouldn't be ripped, crumpled or dirty

Square cut shirt, untucked, and black jeans, with a belt, (and not low slung, hanging round your bum), and Loafers or deck shoes.
