Yellow warnings for thunder over the next couple of days

So did you get struck by lightning? The suspense is killing me.

I played on thursday morning, it was raining at home but at my course 10 minutes up the road there hadn't been a drop of rain and I played the whole round in bright sunshine!
Nah, I posted in one of the other threads, but we got away it with it completely. I think it hammered down early morning, but we teed off at 1:20pm. It was overcast but still really warm and no rain at all for the whole round. Then the minute we drove out of the car park to go home there was a downpour. Expert timing.

Interested here about how to make a judgement. If the hooter sounds it's easy, walk in. But what if it doesn't? You can't rely solely on the club can you?

Yesterday we had a bit of what sounded like a distant rumble of thunder for a hole or 2, and as we were at 15 we just sped up to get finished, though nothing came of it. First time I've had that experience on a golf course. Any suggestions?
