Wow- Not. A bad score for a team event!

Played in a Seniors 4 Man team event the other week. 90% handicap 2 to score. We had 84 points when we left and were In 3rd place.

Not a short course for Seniors 6350 yards with 5 par 4’s averaging 445 yards.

However the winners by 8 points had 99 points. That is the equivalent of 11 points every 2 holes. We aim for 10. The Club were a bit shy regarding handicaps but I know 2 were off 14 and 17. They also had 4 2’s so quite a profitable day.

What a great team effort!

Our pit golf day in June was best two from four to score. With all to score on the 18th. I said that 100 points would win it. We won with 96 points we won by five points. On the last hole we got 11 points. Stonking scoring for the winners.

Well they may have made it 108 so that it was 6 points a hole!

90% we couldn’t belive it course was tough.

With this format, I work on 5 points/hole won't be far off. Played one a couple of weeks ago, it was a little breezy and 88 won.

...sometimes folk have a "hot" day where everything goes right.

...and sometimes there is nowt but downright cheating going on!!
